We have a wide range of group exercise classes at our Leisure Centres which are all led by qualified professional instructors.

Group exercise classes are perfect for staying healthy with friends or meeting new people.

There is something to suit all ages and abilities with more traditional style classes being offered:

Class Descriptions

Awesome Abs

This class will help you firm and tone your abs. Get stronger abdominal muscles and a healthy back using a variety of floor exercises.


This high-energy interval class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength exercises which will improve general endurance and burn a lot of calories.


This is the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength, leaving you feeling calm and centred.

Body Conditioning

It's a whole-body workout that can improve your overall fitness, get you in great shape and feel better about your body. Some classes use weights and/or resistance bands or other equipment


Is the original barbell class that will sculpt and strengthen your whole body.

FightKlub Bag Box

FightKlub is the new fitness class which taking the UK by Storm. The workout involves punching and kicking a freestanding punch bag to music. Not only is it intense and fun but the atmosphere generated in the classes is unbelievable.

FightKlub Bootcamp

All the moves of FightKlub Bag Box with more circuit style conditioning exercises.


You will work multiple muscle groups developing strength and endurance. This is a total body workout challenging your entire body.

Legs, Bums & Tums

These classes concentrate on those three key areas of your body using exercises that tones, sculpts and burns calories. So, if you want great-looking legs, a firmer bum and a tighter tum aim to attend this class two to three times a week


Metafit combines traditional body weight exercises with interval training in a 30-minute format.

No Excuses

A no nonsense fitness class using functional training exercises to increase fitness levels and build strength. This is a high calorie burning workout ideal for all fitness levels and abilities. Using equipment and your own body weight you will work on a variety of exercises focusing on technique and correct form.


Our spin classes offer energising, cycling-inspired group exercise training with expert coaching and exhilarating music. It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular class

Tai Chi

A moving form of Yoga, breathing and meditation combined.

Total Body Blast

A total body workout using equipment or just your own body weight for great toning and shaping and cardiovascular exercises to increase fitness levels

A simple yet effective class focusing on 20 minute blocks of cardio and toning using weights and/or other equipment.
